Yes you are right. After looking at the joints it has cracked right next to where the solder ends. It is only in about 3 or 4 spots and I REALLY don't want to have to re-lead the whole door. It is not being used as an outside door so I thought I could get away with just repairing the cracks.
I will try scraping to get it shiny, then solder to see how well it will repair it. Hopefully it will be enough. If not I may have a new projet for this winter. LOL!
