Hahaha. Answering your own question is not the same as chasing your own tail. Sometimes you find that observation is the best teacher. Mixed with a bit of basic knowledge and common sense it's Golden. You already knew that Gel caused you to solder more slowly. ergo..... A range of consensus opinions is always smart, though sometimes confusing.
