Thanks. But for some reason when I start to solder the foil starts to curl and detach. I am connecting melted glass so the edges are shiny; should they be ground? I have heard about using Dawn and will try to find a product w/o lanolin. Also, from past projects I have saved drops of solder so that I don't waste it. I try to use it to put a first coat of solder on the foil before I connect the pieces. Sometimes I have to pass the iron over the foil more than once. Could the heat be a problem? Sometimes my projects work perfectly so I'm a bit confused.
