BEAUTIFUL, Beth!
In GlassEye I just put a generic red or blue or green and when I see the glass in the shop I know it is the right one. Or, like you said, sometimes it just all comes together. And it came together with a bang in that bear panel! Have you ever seen the northern lights? As much as I hate the cold, I would like to see them at least once.
When I was four or five years old, in South Carolina, I remember one night my parents saw a reddish glow in the sky. My dad thought it was a big fire somewhere and he was curious, so we got in the car and drove around a long time trying to find out what it was. The next morning the newspaper said that it was a rare phenomenon to be able to see a tiny bit of the Aurora Borealis that far south. It must be rare, because I have never seen it again.
